The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card, valid for two years.

Heartsaver First Aid Online provides the convenience of digital learning by teaching the cognitive information needed for first aid training. After completing the online portion, students must participate in a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor, which is sold separately.
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online provides convenient digital learning, teaching students the cognitive information needed for pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED training. After completing the online portion, students must participate in a separate hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.
The Heartsaver Total course path for the Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online course combines online learning with a hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center Instructor. Upon successful completion of both parts (sold separately), students receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years.
HeartCode BLS, the AHA’s blended learning method for the BLS Course, offers high-quality resuscitation education that can be completed at the provider's own pace. It consists of an online portion followed by a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station.
